Celebrate Difference
When it comes to how we think, the way we receive information, and how we express it, we’re all so very different. I’ve seen people measure themselves in these areas against what’s been deemed “normal”, and realize they continuously have different results. Without support or general understanding of where “normal” derived from, this can take a toll on someone’s confidence and self- esteem…making them feel inadequate and inferior.
Normal isn’t a place we arrive to nor is it a full representation of all humanity. We are a neuro-diverse group of people who can’t be bottled up or packaged into the perfect shape for the world’s acceptance.
I don’t know who this is for but there’s nothing “wrong” with you. You’re different because we’re all different, but have been conditioned to ignore our uniqueness and celebrate sameness.
Your ability to shine in your authenticity has been assigned an assassin— from your birth.
As times progress, the frustrations within people will increase— the external pressure to conform despite the internal pressure to be your true self will be even more conflicting.
I’m advocating for you. Difference is beautiful and should be free to be.
